I see the Grudniod is living up to its reputation for typos – it converts an increase of 1.5 deg F to -17 deg C.
I heard this on the ABC 7.00 news tonight. The reporter said according to the report there could be an 11 degree rise – didn’t specify Fahrenheit or Centigrade. An Aus viewer would assume this would be deg C. As 11F is roughly 6C, the top rise suggested by the IPCC, nothing much has changed really.
196 pages of alarmist projection and mainly a rehash of an older CCSP report which contradicted itself on hurricanes.

Obama’s summary has come in for a fair bit of criticism. Somewhere between unscientific and downright embarrassing.
