Sorry, my browser didn’t see a link. Nevertheless I have an observation to make about the moniker: deniers.

The Anthropogenic Global Warming Disaster (AGWD) propaganda machine is much more sophisticated than ours. I prefer to think of myself as a bah-humbug. But according to the AGWDists, I’m a global warming denier. Gee whiz, that sounds too much like a Holocaust denier.

Within the broad category of global warming, there are several issues to which the word denier could apply.
    1. Has there been a global warming trend in the recent past?
    2. If yes, is that trend continuing?
    3. If yes, is it something that we should be worried about?
    4. If yes, could humans and other species adapt to global warming, and avoid having to play carbon-footprint games, and avoid lining the pockets of Al Gore and the other fear-mongering profiteers?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, then you’re considered to be a global warming denier. In for a penny, in for a pound. Neat trick, eh? But there’s a silver lining.

If sunspot activity continues to be below-normal, then our nascent global cooling trend will probably continue. And we can label the hard-core AGWDists as global cooling deniers! Turnabout is definitely fair play.
