You can find people everywhere who are “interested in climate change,” and around here, most of them want warmer weather.
And around here, most people won’t pay for colder weather. They won’t pay for warmer weather, either.
People in an agrarian economy just don’t get into the notion that people can change the weather. Or the climate.
Goofball urbanites obviously entertain themselves differently, with different notions.
