In my view, “Greens” start out with a contradiction and proceed rather blindly from there. The very gas that green things thrive on is the gas they want to curtail. If the so-called Green movement were an Infant Nutrition movement instead, Greenies would be demanding that grocery stores take baby food off the shelves.

You can’t trust anyone except me, you are all all-consuming, you produce and create nothing, I am always right no matter what, even if I am wrong I will be right soon, just you wait and see. It is only you who are deluded.

Jen, you naughty girl, you’ve left me nearly incapacitated with laughter. Where did you find this? Mount Sinai? I’m afraid I don’t recognise all the ‘disciples’ here – any chance of an identification key for these curious life-forms? Who is the shady-looking figure on Al the Saviour’s right? Judas? An Ahmadinejad minder fleeing an Iranian mob? Steve Fielding the planetary menace? Brother Silas the albino monk from Opus Dei? And who is the fetching lady on Al’s left – Miss California repenting of her hate-speech? Dan Brown in drag researching his next novel on links between Cardinal Pell and Big Oil?

    David,

Yes, I think it very amusing. It kept me chuckling much of yesterday.

As regards the origin, well this blog now has its own cartoonist. So far he only wants to be known as ‘Blunt by Knutz’. He comes from New Zealand.

I have already posted four cartoons, drawn for us, click and scroll here: http://jennifermarohasy.com/blog/tag/humour/

This cartoon was perhaps inspired by my question to Luke – who is to the Greens as ‘Thomas Huxley’ is to the skeptics – what image should I have posted for the series defining the Greens.
