Who’d Buy a Property by the Sea?

October 16, 2007 By jennifer

It was claimed in ‘An Inconvenient Truth’ that sea levels could rise by up to 20 feet in the ‘near future’ due to melting ice sheets. Anyone who believed such a claim wouldn’t really be expected to buy a property near San Francisco Bay, would they?

Well, in 2005, Al Gore purchased a multi-million dollar Condominium in the St. Regis Hotel, a 480 foot tower at Third and Mission.

Still, very handy for Apple board meetings, and at 480 feet high there’s little chance of getting your feet wet by the Pacific Ocean!

No doubt he’s planning on installing a diving board from his lounge room window and mooring his yacht right outside his balcony.
(waiting for Luke and SJT now…)LOL

Well it’s very basic isn’t it – he’s being optimistic about global response to the problem. How inspirational is that. It’s really the baby killing denialist warmongers that are pessimistic about positive possibilities.

Actually the hypno-drugs are wearing off and the caped crusaders at RC have given us a good bitch slapping and drill sergeant ream out.

AIT no case to answer ! http://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/2007/10/convenient-untruths/

I hear the Climate Science Frontier is about to take Durkin to court? Is this right?

I saw the usual RC defence of factless climate alarmism. Too late – court judgment made.

Official complaints were made about TGGWS and are yet to be heard, but they didn’t really choose solid ground to stand on:

Over twenty years ago I had dinner with our “local weather man.” He told me that within five years, the Atlantic Ocean would rise to be within twenty miles of Atlanta. My response was that was great, because I wouldn’t have to drive so far to get to the beach. But, sadly, I still have to drive a few hundred miles to get to the beach, but luckily, I didn’t buy any projected “beach property” just twenty miles away.

I think I know Al Gore’s scheme. It’s to make everyone on the coast panic and move out so that he can buy their property cheap.

Yes the court judgement that AIT was largely correct has been noted by intelligent people across the world. We also note the judges’s findings but his judgement is less than perfect as http://www.realclimate.org/index.php/archives/2007/10/convenient-untruths/ details. An appeal awaits. We thank Monckton and the Scientifc Alliance for the putup lawsuit.

Of course the intelligent court of public opinion has already made its own judgement on the Swindle.
    Excremental.

Passing another coprolith, Luke? Your condition is deteriorating fast. Seek help before it is too late. SJT might be able to help with castor oil. You must have plenty of Public Service sick leave up your sleeve.
