November 8, 2010 By admin

The U.K. Telegraph reported on October 31st that leading environmental campaigners have performed a u-turn on two key technologies they have opposed for decades by openly calling for greater use of nuclear power and genetically modified crops …

Ofcourse the Australian Environment Foundation was ahead of its time.   More about the AEF here … http://aefweb.info/

The Green Left Weekly is still opposed to nuclear power and mining uranium.

If the Greens push harder and shout louder for nuclear over coal, to carry the baseload, then they will create a rift with the Left who remain determined in their opposition.

The greens exist for only one reason: they monetize disputes, real or artificial, which have an environmental element.

Giving up on nuclear or GMOs is the same as throwing money away — something the mainstream greens will of course never do.

Thank God for a Genuine Green Group such as AEF!!!

They make you proud to claim that you are an environmentalist when they wrest the high ground from the watermelons.

BTW Jen, our Tawny Frogmouth has just hatched a couple more chicks. I’ll send you a photo when they eventually fall out of the nest [as they always seem to]. And our Glossy Black Cockatoos are raising a young’un so all is not lost.
