    Governments cannot do this on their own. They depend upon partnership with the corporate piggies they lure to the trough. Believe me, if there was no money in the trough, the piggies would not come.

    The opportunities for fraud and political favouritism are massive, and the piggies will, of course, be blamed for whatever goes wrong.

    Then after about 15 years, with the Joe Plumbers so much poorer, and many out of work through exported jobs, we will be told that it has all been worth it! Hey, look! We still have critters and plants! And people are still alive! Our sacrifices via carbon taxes must be working! But we need to do more! Much, much more …
